Nintendo 64 does require a memory card for game saves, or does it save on the game cartridges?
I used to have a N64 and sold. I felt like going back in the day, so I'm buying an old N64 for Christmas. But I can not remember, do games need a memory card to save, or save in themselves, like the gameboy games?
It depends on the game. Most games stored on the cartridge, with the option to copy your save data to the Controller Pak. But this was not always so.
